[Autom. eng. transl.] We review a monographic study on the Tuscan criminal justice in the eighteenth century, which analyzes the construction of a stylus iudicandi, the criminalistic and the procedure in the late Medici period; the period of the Lorraine Regency, between the attempted introduction of a different conception of criminal justice (1737-1757) and the reaffirmation of the dating practice (1757-1765); the Leopold age, until the mid-1980s
