Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] As stated in the theme chosen for Expo 2015, "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", it will be necessary to reach within a short time a greater social and food balance between the areas of the world. The first step of this process starts from the knowledge of the problem of lack of food, from a re-distribution of food and resources, but not through bequests or transfers from rich countries, but through local development based on education, training and on the installation of technologies, acquired by local populations and managed in full autonomy and ability to self-feed them. The project shown here would like, in addition to the distribution of avocado oil to the poorest sections of the population to fight malnutrition and diseases, also trigger in the Murayi community, the "sense of duty", the responsibility for their own growth, being actors decisive and active in their development, strengthening their endogenous capabilities. It is also part of the process of creating and maintaining relations between the north and the south of the world, in a two-way process, capable not only of sprouting the agricultural and productive community of Murayi, but also of raising the awareness of the Italian population on the themes of the development of Africa and the growing interdependence between peoples, raising awareness of ethical and sustainable food products, fair and supportive, and obtained in full compliance with the requirements of food security.
