Abstract
The traditional racism persists in contemporary society and, at the same
time, takes new forms. In addition to the scientific racism based on biologi-
cal arguments, cultural and differentialist racism spreads, fed by xenopho-
bia and hostility towards immigrants. At the same time, on the Internet hate
speech is targeting several groups, drawing on anti-semitism, islamophobia,
antigitanism. Intercultural education must analyze this complexity to respond
effectively through multidimensional strategies, both cognitive and emotional-
affective and relational.
