Abstract
The essay retraces the main steps of the evolution of Republican Trade Union law, in dialogue especially with the thought of Mario Napoli, to whose memory the volume is dedicated. The main feature of the Republican Trade Union law is identified in the search for the effectiveness of collective action through the enhancement of the representativeness of Trade Unions, since the constitutional plan to absorb representativeness in representation and solve in this way the problem of the effectiveness of collective agreeents has not been implemented.
