Abstract

Self-presentation is the way through which we communicate with the others. For that purpose we use words, gestures, objects,and of course clothes. The book addresses communication, identity and fashion and their connections, referring to classical authors of sociology of communication, the contemporary debate in the field of cultural and fashion studies, and empirical findings.
