Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Innovation and cities are words of the moment. Over half of the world's population lives in urban areas and the number is growing. This means that the choices made in these contexts will have an increasingly global impact. Together with political responsibilities, the challenges of cohabitation, acceptance and sustainable development are gathering in urban areas; but here also intellectual, economic, technological, cultural and social resources are concentrated. Cities thus become extraordinary laboratories of change and innovation. Milan seems to have taken its own way, opting for a model of inclusive social innovation. The 2017 Ambrosianeum Report tests this declaration of intent by investigating what is happening in some privileged fields: work and business 4.0, universities and research, welfare and new sharing practices, showing that innovation can be reach of all. Almost.
