Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] A large literature has raised the question of possible points of contact between organized crime, mafias (national and transnational) and jihadist groups, based mainly on organizational and operational similarities, although in the majority of the studies in question we tend to emphasize the difference in fund between criminal and terrorist organizations: on the one hand the typical ideological character of terrorists, on the other the economic purpose and the constant search for profit by criminals.
