Ragionando di Weber…con Realino Marra

Through a confrontation with Realino Marra’s volume L’eredità di Max Weber. Cultura, diritto e realtà, the contribution highlights the modernity of Max Weber’s legacy. The analysis of some crucial concepts of his theoretical approach (i.e. the category of “culture”, the idea of “methodology”, the concept of “law”, the horizon of “social agency” and the role of the “jurist”) allows to emphasize the conceptual fertility underlying the Weberian outlook as well as its relevant projections within the contemporary philosophical-legal debate. In conclusion, also in light of the current debate Weber’s heritage can be appreciated both in an historical perspective and from a methodological point of view.
