Abstract
This contribution intends to show the initial phases of work related to a project that concerns the resolution of co-references in\ r\ n Latin texts. This project aims at the empirical exploration of a level of metalinguistic annotation that still finds little\ r\ n space in research on linguistic resources and on the automatic treatment of language applied to Latin. Within this\ r\ n contribution, the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the project will be indicated and an example of the annotation work\ r\ n carried out will be provided
