Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Ada Negri was an attentive visitor and a fine literary interpreter of the city that can boast of having had her frequently as a guest, through a significant corpus of Elzevirist prose, which later merged into the syllogs Di day by day, Erba sul parvis and Oltre. Descriptions, glimpses of the environment, impressions, portraits: scattered pages of a tribute to Pavia, a beloved 'refuge' that meant, for the writer from Lodi, blissful solitude, meditation, peace.
