Qui è altrove. Del sacro e dello spirituale nell'arte contemporanea

The book is a collection of essays written for some conferences and interventions on the themes of the qualification of the categories of the sacred and of the spiritual in contemporary art, integrated by some texts developed specifically for this publication. Among the topics here treated are that of the processes of abstraction and dematerialization as the form into which Twentieth-Century artists has redefined the concept of spirituality in art, and that of the relations with religious clients. The second part of the volume has a historical-monographic structure, deepening some protagonists and some specific moments for the recent story of this matter.
