Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The recognition and enhancement of the multiple aspects connected to the affective and sexual dimension of the person, above all in relation to the different cultural, emotional, formative meanings that all this assumes on an educational level, have long represented themes of extreme importance, the subject of studies and debates that are placed at the crossroads of many disciplinary and research interests, towards which pedagogy is called to offer its fundamental contribution. Although a substantial agreement between insiders and outsiders can be considered established regarding the need to assume affective and sexual education as an integral part of the growth process of the individual, in respect and in compliance with the possibility of realizing that necessary integral development of man, it is still possible today to detect different forms of resistance which risk hindering, at various levels, the process of maturation of the person and, with it, the harmonious acquisition of an adult identity
