Abstract

This contribution, while not claiming to be exhaustive, highlights the ecological question as a point of convergence—a dialogical and heuristic crossroads capable of bridging distant worlds, both geographically and philosophically. It underscores the importance of interreligious dialogue aimed at nurturing a shared responsibility for the well-being of our common home, guided by principles of universal fraternity. In particular, by exploring the diverse expressions of environmental stewardship found within various religious traditions, we advocate for the possibility of fostering dialogue between environmental pedagogy and philosophical and religious wisdom. This dialogue can serve to orient education towards fostering loving and fraternal relationships that encompass all existence. It represents a shift in our cultural, social, and relational approach to shaping the future of our planet.
