Abstract

Sport has been selected by the European Commission as an area of interest for Employment, launching the EQF Sports (European Qualification Framework in Sport Sector). Moreover, in consideration that the issue of employment remains a central theme of the Commission and one of the five objectives of the “Europe 2020” strategy, it is considered as the sport sector could contribute significantly to solving the problem, offering a variety of occupational activities for younger and a dynamic demand for professionalism. The body and sport education must not be identified with the quantification of the results, with the measurement of the value of the person only with numbers. Along with more facilities and services, skilled workers and a cultural order specifically aimed at the diversity of answers to give, are increasingly needed. Universities and institutes of higher education seem little interest in strengthening the relationship between training and employment.
