Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Divergent, provocative and also creative and lively, humor has always stimulated interest. Humor can occupy a space in the helping relationship, but it can also strengthen the professional identity of the operators. Not free from ambiguity, laughing together is an opportunity that strengthens the aid process and advances the therapeutic relationship. At the same time, humor is part of professional culture and shapes the meaning of events, situations and activities.
