Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Since the end of the Cold War, NATO has been searching for a new reason for being within a changed strategic context. The years between 1990 and 2010 had imposed on the Alliance a first transformation that was anything but simple, both in its strategic concept and in its operational tasks. Today, the Ukrainian crisis and international terrorism have shuffled the cards again.
