[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reconstructs the history, the foundations and the declinations of the theater, indeed of the theaters of the sacred, illustrating tangencies and divergences with the public theater (aimed at acculturation and enlightenment of the spectator) and the private one (aimed at entertaining and moving the audience ). Specifically, it shows how they are configured as "community theaters": if it is true that theater is the art of bodies, mimesis and mimetic desire, this art can not only be seen and enjoyed but must be acted upon, acquired , put into practice.
