Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Social Psychology textbook by Myers et al. offers an exhaustive overview of the discipline, illustrating the theories in detail and presenting the results of classic experiments and contemporary research. The authors' goal was to create a solid text from a scientific point of view, but also warm from a human point of view, rigorous in the reporting of research and theories, but also stimulating and provocative from an intellectual and cultural point of view. The chapters, divided according to the consolidated articulation of social psychology, offer many examples of concrete application of the discipline and its research results. In this fourth Italian edition, revised and updated, the results of recent research have been included, contents reorganized to make them even more usable and a new chapter of great social importance has been added, namely the ecological transition. Also in this edition, as in the previous one, the 17 objectives of Agenda 2030 were taken into consideration in the presentation of contents and examples. The volume is offered as an approach tool to the discipline for male and female students of degree courses in which there is a teaching of Social Psychology and also for all those who have an interest and desire to understand the interpersonal and social processes that occur in the daily life of people in their living environments.
