Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The second edition of Feldman's General Psychology manual is the result of a careful and rigorous revision work aimed at updating it, enriching it and enhancing the strengths of the first edition. Further simplified the structure and the system of cross-references and didactic supports that it offers both to the student and to the teacher, numerous didactic materials for further study and examples of daily life used to favor the reader's understanding of the centrality of psychology in life everyday as a possible explanatory and rigorous key to many phenomena of reality. The most substantial work has still concerned the completion of the work of selection and integration between contents, further reducing the space dedicated to topics too tied to typically American social phenomena and developing from scratch themes that are traditionally studied in our country or recently become particular interest, as the references to the most recent scientific researches have been updated and further "Europeanized", and inserted new in-depth information sheets prepared by expert and recognized professors. The result is a manual that, while preserving the traditional chapter structure, centered on the topics that are classically proposed in the examination programs of the courses of general psychology, presents a modulation of the topics and themes dealt with at different levels of complexity.
