Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The manual was born from a precise didactic need, that is to say to have at disposal an agile but at the same time articulated and comprehensive tool to face the didactic path of the psychology of personality teaching. The text aims to translate standard theories into practice: current research lines and applications to the real world, encouraging the enhancement of the Italian scientific community and presenting a significant adaptation to the context of our country. The focus is mainly on theoretical perspectives, for each of which the reference authors are presented. This edition has been updated in some parts with materials concerning genetics and the biological bases of impulsiveness and a chapter has been added entitled "Overlapping and integrations between perspectives".
