Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume reconstructs the genesis and the history of the magazine "Il menabò", directed by Eioudi by Elio Vittorini and Italo Calvino between 1959 and 1967. The ten files that make up the magazine are investigated through the study of archival papers unpublished preserved in the Einaudi Historical Archive at the State Archive of Turin, in the Vittorini Fund at the Apice Center of the University of Milan, in the Manuscript Center of the University of Pavia and in the Mondadori Historical Archive at the Foundation Arnoldo and Alberto Mondadori of Milan.
