Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In this chapter after the proposal of an excursus on the burnout syndrome, a brief outline is presented on the importance of the supervision moment as a protective factor in work situations at risk of burnout. In the second part the function of emotions in social services operators is discussed, trying to analyze how these can help or hinder work in child protection services in particular.
