Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In this paper we want to present and discuss an experience of accompanying the development of a Juvenile Criminal Mediation service, deployed over almost three years and divided into three distinct phases: an evaluation research phase on the process and on the results of the activity carried out ; a supervision phase of the practice; a training phase on how the working group works. In particular, we will illustrate this last phase of the work that involved the entire team for about ten months, focusing above all on some elements of method and technique that have characterized the training intervention and that have enabled the reflective function to be activated. of the work group and, consequently, to start an important transformative process of the modalities through which to carry out the mediation intervention. The training intervention was set according to a clinical / psychosociological approach1 and, starting from the clinical reading of the question expressed by the group and from what emerged in the two previous phases of work, it essentially concerned two aspects: the promotion of greater awareness about the form of organizational coexistence that distinguishes the work group and the increase in the group's capacity to assume explicitly and functionally the "government" function of the work group, within possible transformations and developments of procedures and procedures operational. The underlying hypothesis, to which these objectives are anchored and from which the choices of contents and training methods derive, lies in the conviction that the critical points found in the realization of the mediation activity (the object of work) are directly connected to the relational dimensions that run through the working group and, more precisely, to the difficulty of recomposing the different meanings that the operators attribute to their function and the different feelings that mark their belonging to the service, in the latent interweaving between identity and otherness , between values and powers, between behavioral practices and ideals.
