Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept of control in a philosophical perspective, identifying the structure of control systems and therefore presenting the relationship between the dynamics of control and the structure of finalization that appears to characterize biological systems. The contribution is divided into four sections dedicated, respectively, to the identification of the dynamics of control, to the interpretation of this dynamic, to the relationship between the dynamics of control and purpose, with particular reference to the distinction between teleonomy and teleology, and, finally, to the relationship between control dynamics and freedom. The two final sections will briefly deal with problems concerning the teleological interpretation of dynamical systems and the relationship between freedom and control enforcement.
