Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The work analyzes the scientific and rational assumptions of the juridical statute that the law n. 40/2004 recognizes the human embryo, in relation to the implementation of embryos in medically assisted procreation and the problem of the criteria that must characterize human generation. An in-depth analysis is dedicated to the role that the protection of human life assumes in the democratic constitutional framework. The continuity relationship between the principles established in the law n. Is highlighted, especially with regard to the issue of pre-implantation diagnosis on embryos. 194/1978 and the choices made by law n. 40/2004.
