Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The dictionary entry is taken into account in the context of aid professions. After a necessary contextualization in the current welfare system, the contribution proposes a reflection on the meaning of the words "taking charge" of the problems and difficulties of a person or a family unit and how the approach that guides the helping relationship affects on the possibility that people become active protagonists in taking charge of their problems.
