Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution analyzes the services and interventions present in favor of couples. It outlines a picture made more of empty than full, in fact: little attention is given in the network of services to the care of the couple that appears, even more than the parental relationship, a very private affair; also positive themes and crucial phases for the life of the couple, such as the birth event, do not become an opportunity to meet services with both members of the couple, but at the most they relate to an experience lived entirely by women; the most innovative paths that use participatory and group methodologies are not present in the services, except to a residual extent and, in any case, it is not possible to collect sufficiently detailed information. In summary the impression is that, even if in some territorial areas good paths have been experimented, this work has never become an acquired and consolidated patrimony, indeed from the national data it appears in some cases a sort of involution. Overall, it seems that dealing with the non-pathological conjugal couple, with an interest in the strength of the bond, is possible only if you are in the presence of extraordinary choices such as foster care and adoption, which necessarily concern a minority segment of the population .
