Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The survey carried out in an area of 12.5 hectares, located in the municipality of Carpiano, has allowed us to obtain a very large catalog of chemical and physical data such as heavy metals, metalloids, macroelements, radionuclides, organic substance (total carbon and carbon organic), dioxins, furans, DDT, PCBs, orgaclorurated pesticides, herbicides, pH and texture. The biological parameters have insisted on aspects related to Biodiversity and Bioindication such as bacteria and fungi, the use of biosensors and arthropods, the analysis of enzymatic activity and earthworms up to the cultivation of clover seedlings to assess possible variations of genetic heritage (DNA) caused by contaminants in the soil. The information, in their holistic concept, has allowed us to observe a state of compromised soil and the same life of plant and animal organisms that are present in the soil. This soil malaise is present at different levels of intensity and covers a large part of the area under investigation.
