Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The text Der unbedingte Mensch contains the "metaclinical" lectures given by prof. Frankl in the summer semester of 1949 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vienna. In them the Austrian psychiatrist explores the philosophical presuppositions of medical action and, in particular, the epistemological, anthropological and ethical issues connected with the practice of psychiatry and psychotherapy.
