Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The introduction to a volume that contains numerous oral testimonies allows us to propose some methodological considerations on this specific type of source. The reference to the Italian trade union affairs proposed by the witnesses also implies a survey, albeit concise, on the most significant events of the Seventies, preliminary to the identification of quite a few questions on which historical research and union culture still have to be fully applied.
