Abstract
The preface contextualizes the dialogue between South American and non-South American jurists within the concept of "legal Latinity". "Legal Latinity" signifies an element of synthesis of the common cultural and linguistic roots of the legal experiences examined by the authors of this volume. However, "legal Latinity" presents not only points of contact between experiences, but also differences that must therefore be appropriately problematized.
