Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] With what tools is it possible to attack food poverty? In addressing this issue, now increasingly at the center of public debate, the volume refers to the responses of the second welfare, that is, to those innovative solutions that arise from the rethinking of relations between public and private subjects. An analysis that goes from the most "traditional" answers, characterized by the prevalent management of the problem by religious organizations, to the more innovative ones, which involve social networks and individual citizens, engaged in production as well as in the collection and distribution of surpluses .
