Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Autism has a strong impact on the social development of the individual. One of the most accredited hypotheses among the international scientific community is that in people with autism there is a misunderstanding of the emotions, intentions and actions of the interlocutors. This interpretative model is called "Theory of Mind" (ToM) and refers to the ability to hypothesize the mental states of others. The deficit of the Theory of Mind implies an impossibility of giving meaning to interpersonal behavior, communication, rules and social conventions of the place where one lives. From this it could be deduced that the didactic proposals aimed at improving the recognition and understanding of emotions, moods and communicative events can positively influence the psycho-social development of the learner. The question that arises is whether it is possible to teach such a content, which in typical subjects is learned spontaneously in an experiential way.
