Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Vines of Merlot clone R3 grafted onto 3309 C, were cultivated in pots on a neutral and a calcareous soil and subjected to different doses of potassium fertilization in order to verify their effect on the main quantitative and qualitative parameters of the grapes. The mineral composition of the petioles was determined during veraison and the grape composition. Between veraison and harvest the concentration of stilbenes in the grapes was evaluated and at harvest, the main productive and qualitative parameters. The results confirmed the influence of potassium on the increase in grape quality (due to titratable acidity and total anthocyanins), as well as the increase in trans-resveratrol of the berries at the maximum doses applied.
