Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution presents a participatory research-action experience that has activated innovative emancipatory processes and empowerment effects of the young people involved. After a brief overview
theorist of community social work (CSW) concepts and participatory research models, key themes
connected to the experience described, the aims, methodology and results of the research conducted within the #YOUthLAB (#YL) project will be presented, finally offering some reflections on the processes of
emancipation products through research and new forms of participation in the public space
by the young people involved.
