Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay investigates the different concepts of justice emerging from the works of archaic Greek literature, starting from Homer and Hesiod and reaching Solon. Particular attention is given to forms of justice that are different from revenge, which flank it even before the birth of the polis, thus initiating the long process of overcoming the pay logic. Reflection is also of considerable importance for the contemporary world, in which a disproportionate recourse to criminal law and to punitive logic is increasingly recorded, instead of a thoughtful reflection on punishment and its aims.
