Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Global warming is indisputable today, climate variations not only have repercussions on physical and biological systems, but also on social and economic dynamics. The SME RISK ADAPT project arises in this context - ADAPT to climate risk in small and medium-sized Italian businesses: training human resources and managing physical, financial and transition risks towards sustainable development with the aim of providing Italian SMEs with operational indications replicable for the inclusion of climate risk in their planning and programming choices. Research/action is based on the assumption that a trained and responsible conscience is needed to be able to design and implement effective medium and long-term projects; in particular, with WP 5 we set ourselves the objective of identifying the characterizing and generalizable elements of a training path that includes climate risk in the programming/planning choices of SMEs, with particular attention to the generative role of human resources in companies. In this perspective, an aware and shared business culture that includes climate risks, ethical and values ​​training that involves all the subjects of the supply chain, technical training aimed at innovation, not just technological and educational communication aimed at all is appropriate. the stakeholders. The company, from a pedagogical point of view, in its being a community and an environment of education and growth, can become an emblematic place of adaptation to climate risk when people, supported by a motivating business culture, can, working, learning and collaborating in the redefinition of business strategies.
