Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Religions and religious people can be within pluralistic contexts in different ways and contribute to ways of co-habitation that are also very distant. It must be recognized that the pluralism of religiosities and religions within the current social contexts does not have a single path marked out. The religious discourse can be taken to give legitimacy to fanatical and destructive positions, as well as to become a staunch supporter of the principles of peace, of the construction of a common home capable of making differences coexist together. It is in this context that the essay highlights the contribution that the pedagogy of the 'religious' or the religious dimension can make, both for a more articulated understanding of the phenomenon of pluralism, and for the promotion of coexistence based on understanding.
