Abstract

This is the biography of an archbishop of Milan, who studied at the schools of Paris in the late twelfth century. Author of a theological Summa, in Paris he probably met Innocent III. After a period of teaching at the studio of Bologna, the Pope created him cardinal deacon of the title of S. Angelo, and in 1206 appointed him archbishop of Milan (+ 1211)
