Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The intent of these short pages does not - nor can - be to offer the reader an exhaustive overview of all the contributions offered to date by historical research on an extremely complex and debated topic, what is the relationship between the Holy See and the Jewish world in the years of Pius XI. The goal, much more modest, is rather to propose an itinerary of re-reading, among the many possible, starting from some problematic nodes on which the most recent historiography has focused, which since 2006 (and since 2003 as regards the papers relating to Germany) was able to take advantage of the opening to the consultation of the Vatican archival funds on the pontificate of Achille Ratti.
