Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The new economic programming cycle will start in Europe in 2021. The Parliament elected last May and the new Commission will create together with the European Council the seven-year budget which will define the policies for the coming years. The Old Continent therefore experiences a very important transition phase, in which phenomena and changes that are anything but negligible are grafted: the return of neo-protectionism in the first place, the fourth industrial revolution and climate change. The author's analysis starts from this synthetic overview and focuses on two aspects which in his opinion are emblematic from an economic point of view.
