Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] From his youth the thought of Francesco Petrarca regarding the necessary relationship with books and the way they were used for the creation of new works was strongly influenced by the Senecan reflection present in the Epistulae ad Lucilium. Not all books benefit equally and all the filming from them must be transformed with a mellificatio process similar to that performed by bees.
