Abstract
Every experiential journey has an embryonically generative potential, which manifests itself through the human gesture of narration, so as to allow the subject to rework and generate knowledge from reflection. This statement is expressed in the biographical work "La nuit de feu" by E. E. Schmitt, who, on the trail of Charles de Foucault, is lost in the desert of Algeria and finds himself to be a new person. It is in this stellar night that he experiences a mystical way of meeting with the Absolute, which will be for him the birth and the place of generativity, transformation and education.
