Abstract

Max Weber’s legacy is still at the heart of the contemporary philosophical-legal debate. The complex circle method-history-law drawn by Weber draws represents a precious tool to understand the critical issues underlying the current sociological-legal scenario, which is characterized by the transition from a historical-systematic paradigm of law to a reticular perspective. This horizon dates back to the origins of modernity and entails the crucial categories (i.e: Entzauberung, Rationalisierung, Polytheismus der Werte, Charisma) largely deepened by the German sociologist: in the last analysis, they involve the question of power.
