Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In its original form, the contribution proposes the location of the Codex Brixiaus, a late-antique evangeliary in chrysoargyrographic uncial from the Theodoric era, actually derived from the welding together of three contemporary codicological units as a reading complement to the liturgical text, located in northern Italy, perhaps in Ravenna, without excluding other episcopal seats in the Po Valley prepared for luxury books.
