Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] On the basis of the three-year reports that the bishops of the post-Tridentine period were to send to the Congregation of the Council and to the Pontiff in Rome, the article analyzes the pastoral problems present in the diocese of Novara during the episcopates of Cesare Speciano and Carlo Bascapè. The Appendix is transcribed the Relationes and the autograph letters of the bishops.
