Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The rapidity of the transformations that characterize the world of work and society in general show a strong criticality for the realization of the work placement of people with disabilities.
In Italy there are still strong differences between the percentage of people without limitations (57.8%) placed in the workplace and that relating to people with disabilities (35.8%). A figure in contrast with the achievements of the long journey towards integration and inclusion, undertaken by Italy, long before other European countries. Law 68/99 "Rules for the right to work of the disabled" introduced the principles of targeted placement of the disabled, or as mentioned in art. 2 "that series of technical and support tools that allow people with disabilities to be adequately assessed in their working skills and to place them in the right place, through job analysis, forms of support, positive actions and solutions to problems connected with environments, tools and interpersonal relationships in the daily workplace and relationship ". However, the goal of targeted placement in many cases still seems very far away. What are the main reasons for this difficulty of affirmation? This contribution will try to answer this and other questions, starting from the assumption that the main causes can be identified precisely in the quality of the life project, which is defined from the first years of a person's life.
