[Autom. eng. transl.] Work is a relationship of service, endowed with social value in the sense of building bonds of sociability and contribution of value; it presents a value not only external, but also interior because it involves the personality of the person who carries it out and expresses its own peculiar character. The work is a real "dress" that shapes the personality. It emerges from this as its way of being and expressing itself socially. As a result, work requires inner participation; in a certain way it "comes from within" and expresses itself in passion, curiosity and the desire to learn and continuously improve. The German language distinguishes between beruf, response to a vocation, and arbeit, the activity of those who work.
