Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Social pedagogy is a topic of reflection increasingly questioned by broad political-economic-cultural sectors and by public opinion. In fact, the need to proceed towards the construction of a social order that responds responsibly to the ethical principle of the harmonization of personal good and common good becomes ever more alive. Faced with this situation, social pedagogy is bound to move in two directions. On the one hand, to cultivate one's epistemological roots, so that its direct connection with general pedagogy is always evident. On the other hand, to deepen the study of numerous sectors that make up the inter-human space: from the family to the school, to the trade union bodies, to the political parties, to the mass media and so on. Therefore, it has to specify its own investigation tools and its hermeneutical consistency, so that it is facilitated in the process of analyzing the real data and prospecting for renewed operating lines.
