Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The pedagogical potential of art has been highlighted by several authors, from Plato to Ignazio di Loyola, to Giuseppe Lombardo Radice. In fact, in view of an integral dimension of the person, this aspect cannot be missing. Today, on the other hand, in many Western countries and beyond, the teaching of subjects perceived as useful often prevails, at the expense of humanistic and artistic subjects, according to an instrumental attitude. The Italian school boasts very advanced processes of inclusion and also from this point of view art proves to be a pedagogically fruitful tool.
